The story of Inmaculada Coffee Farms begins with the Holguín-Ramos family and their long history in the sugar cane and oil palm industry, and decided in 2010 to venture into a specialty coffee project in order to give back to the community. and to the Pichindé environment more than nine decades of affection and affection; thus “Inmaculada Coffee Farms” was born.
Our plantations are located in the heart of the Andes mountains in the town of Pichindé, municipality of Cali at an altitude between 1650 and 2000 meters above sea level, surrounded by the beauty of the Farallones de Cali Natural Park. These plantations were planted with unique and exotic varieties such as: Sudan Rume, Laurina, Geisha, Bourbons and the species called Eugeniodes and surrounded by the most diverse nature in the agroforestry system and today immersed in the natural practice known as biodynamic agriculture, completely abandoning synthetic fertilization and all types of agrochemicals, respecting our ecosystem with the greatest care and responsibility.
Pichindé is a town located in the middle of the western mountain range belonging to the Andes and where the Farallones de Cali National Natural Park is located. From here flow rivers and water resources that spread in a region of abundant fauna and flora, recognized for housing unique species and animals in the world, represented in 109 species of mammals, 300 species of birds, 63 reptiles, 40 amphibians and 21 of fish.
This natural sanctuary presents unparalleled conditions for crops that can be produced in harmony with the nature that surrounds it. To achieve this, each coffee must maintain strict growing conditions and must be accompanied by forests and vegetation that protect and allow the product to retain the best natural properties of this land. This vegetation includes: Guayabos, lemons, tephrosias, giant tits, guamos and citronella among others. All this is designed to extract the best possible quality from the coffees we grow, to create a different and representative product of Colombia.
Today Inmaculada Coffee Farms is recognized worldwide for producing some of the best coffees in the world, they stand out for their elegant, smooth and exotic notes and for being one of the most desired coffees by baristas worldwide; "We have won various international awards, including the World Barista Championship by the renowned barista Sasa Sestic, in 2015 in Seattle Washington.
