Jorge Elías Rojas is a successful coffee producer, taster and roaster. Jorge, being just a 12-year-old boy, dedicated himself to the work of the farm with his mother after the sudden death of his father, and for 22 years he has been dedicated to the hard work of agriculture. La Roca State is located in Planadas Tolima in the La Armenia village at 1900 M, its lands are home to a great variety of endemic birds, and are surrounded by great vegetation and several waterfalls, where it has 3 hectares. planted with coffee, with traditional coffees such as Caturra and Yellow Caturra and some exotic ones such as Geisha, Tabí, Pacamara, Moka, Wush-Wush and Bourbon Rosado.
The Roca State coffee lots are characteristic for their good body, balance in their citrus, floral and sweet flavors. Jorge has dedicated a great effort from planting, harvesting, selection, processing and especially in their drying and storage methods. . Felipe, Jorge's son, is the one who always accompanies him in his daily tasks of roasting samples, reading brix degrees of ripe cherries for their subsequent processing, thus making him the 5th generation of Coffee Growers in his family.
