Oswaldo Toro is a third-generation coffee grower who has successfully transformed his family tradition into a project focused on innovation and quality. His farm, Los Cedros, located in Huila, covers four hectares, but thanks to joint efforts with his relatives' farms, production totals eight hectares.
The project stems from a family legacy passed down by his maternal grandparents, and over time it has consolidated itself as a collective effort where Finca Los Cedros functions as the processing centre for the coffee produced on the different plots.
The family has demonstrated a constant ability to reinvent itself in the face of challenges in the coffee sector, leaving behind traditional varieties such as Castillo to make way for high-value varieties in the specialty market, including Bourbon Sidra, Ombligón, Java, Gesha, and Bourbon Ají.
